Most importantly, the additional power that is enjoyed by thousands already is unchanged. Straight from the factory, the Ford Explorer ST boasts a rating of 400 horsepower at the flywheel. On our dyno, we recorded a maximum stock output of 313.7 WHP*. However, after integrating our TruControl by STILLEN Inline Power Module, the dynamometer revealed a significant increase, with a peak horsepower output of 362 WHP. Notably, the most substantial gains were observed towards the mid range, with an impressive boost of nearly 100 wheel horsepower. This results in an overall peak enhancement of more than 50 horsepower at the flywheel with 4WD drivetrain loss calculated.

In terms of torque increases, our TruControl truly excels. The stock dyno indicated a maximum torque of 325.9 lb-ft. Yet, with the TruControl by STILLEN Inline Power Module in place, our test Explorer ST showcased a remarkable increase, delivering 485 lb-ft of torque*. The most significant surge over stock figures occurred towards the lower RPM range, with an additional 160 lb-ft of torque recorded at the wheels equaling a total of over 500 lb-ft of torque at the flywheel!

These enhancements provide substantial advantages, with increased low-end torque,  offering improved acceleration and responsiveness. Additionally, the heightened top-end horsepower provides extra passing power, allowing the engine to truly excel on the straights, ensuring a thrilling driving experience.
