Most importantly, the additional power that is enjoyed by thousands already is unchanged. Straight from the factory, the Ford F-150 PowerBoost boasts a rating of 430 horsepower. On our dyno, we recorded a maximum stock wheel horsepower output of 334 hp. However, after integrating our TruControl by STILLEN Inline Power Module, the dynamometer revealed a significant increase, with a peak horsepower output of 415 horsepower at the wheels. Notably, the most substantial gains were observed towards the top end, with an impressive boost of 81 wheel horsepower. This results in an overall enhancement of more than 97 horsepower at the flywheel with 4wd drivetrain loss calculated. This translates to a total peak engine output of nearly 500 horsepower, giving you more power than a Raptor.
In terms of torque increases, our TruControl truly excels. The stock dyno indicated a maximum torque of 453.9 ft lbs. Yet, with the TruControl by STILLEN Inline Power Module in place, our test truck showcased a remarkable increase, delivering 532 ft. lbs of torque*. The most significant surge over stock figures occurred towards the mid range, with an additional 79 ft lbs recorded at the wheels!
These enhancements provide substantial advantages, especially for towing. With increased low-end torque, towing heavy loads becomes notably easier, offering improved responsiveness.
